Create a Stand-alone Event

If you wish to create an on-line registration & payment link for a tournament you'll be managing using the Golf Tournament Network, or a link to have golfers join your Golf Handicap Network golf club, or a link for golfers to pay their league dues for your Golf League Network league, please set those GRN Events up in their respective Network applications.  This "Stand-alone Event" setup is for events not tied to any of the other three networks.


  • Click the "Create Stand-alone Event" button.
  • You will be directed to "Add an Organization".
  • If you already have a username and password in one of the Handicomp Golf Network applications, please use it.  If you've forgotten this information, please use the "Forgot Username/Password" selection.  Else, Add an Account.
  • Once you have logged in the next step will be to "Add an Organization".
  • If you are a repeat user and are creating additional events, you will not be asked to add an organization.
  • Once you have added your Organization it will log you off and ask you to log back in.
  • Once you have logged back in to the GRN website, you will be directed to the GRN Admin landing page, from where you can Add Registration Events.
  • At this point, click the "Add an Event" button and your on your way.

Stripe Configuration

If you are collecting monies for registrations you will have to create a Stripe account (first time only) and connect it to a bank account.  The GRN will prompt you to begin this setup.  If you wish to come back to it later you can access your Stripe Payment Account from ADMIN on the menu bar. If you are not collecting monies for registrations you can skip the creation of a Stripe account.
